Since 2021, Folk/Americana singer/songwriter Craig Gould has released three singles. Each one has amassed over 10,000 plays on Spotify and for good reason. He’s one of the most exciting up-and-comers that Staffordshire and the UK, in general, have seen in a while. ‘Out of the Woods’ is Gould’s brand new tune, and it’s a richly stunning tale of heartbreak and redemption. Enlisting the help of Dan Sealey (Ocean Colour Scene), Jenny Colquitt, Jools Street, and Lee Cogswell, Gould has come up with another blinding song to add to his catalogue. Full-bodied, warm, mellifluous, brilliant!
All of the profits made from ‘Out of the Woods’ will be donated to CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably), a charity that Gould is extremely proud to be working with. Isn’t that just a beautiful thing to see? An artist who talks the talk and walks the walk. If only we had more Craig Gould’s around.
Sometime this year, Gould will be releasing his highly anticipated debut album ‘Songs from the Campfire’. Having listened to all of his singles, there’s no doubt he’s a special talent. I truly can’t wait to hear more!
