Self-titled, her latest album collects new and older material, offering a glimpse into Moussa-Mann’s eclectic artistry, capable to jump from heart-warming, folk-flavoured gems such as ‘Green Toyota’ to more upbeat, poppy bangers the likes of ‘Seventeen’. The constant is the British artist’s dynamic vocals, able to go from intimate lyricism to anthemic tones in a matter of seconds, especially when layered into infinite harmonies.
Lyrically, the record is centred around the theme of breaking free from the constraints that hold us back. The lead single, ‘The Greatest Escape Ever’, will have a TikTok-inspired music video with nods to films like Thelma & Louise and The Fugitive.
