Every time we listen to Sofia Lafuente, it is clear how much of a musical powerhouse she is. In fact, she would truly deserve a global audience. Her material is absolutely wonderful, a collection of elegant pop, poignant gems and heartwrenching tunes, all drenched in the shattering fragility and deep introspection contained in Sofia’s lyricism.
On that note, we just watched Lafuente’s newest release, a live acoustic rendition of her previous single ‘Madrugada’. Sang entirely in Spanish, the track is a moving and passionate heartbreak anthem, delivered with incredible vocal control and a relatable attitude. In particular, it is her voice that pulls us into the performance, catching our undivided attention for the whole duration of it. The small details in her delivery are what’s astonishing: thanks for the precious gift, Sofia.
Lafuente reaches the listeners’ hearts with her authenticity. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for this amazing talent.
