Discover the Timeless Sound of Martyn Scott

Emerging from Rotherham, UK, Martyn Scott is one of those modern heroes that look at the past with admiration, absorbing every nuance of it, like a sponge in the middle of the ocean. For Scott, the ocean is represented by the classic sound of an era long gone, the pop and rock of the 60s and 70s. Boasting a nostalgic retro aesthetic, the British musician is a refreshing offering in an over-saturated music landscape, offering organic vibes and a gentle, mellow character that instantly captures the listener into experiencing the project.

‘Lazy Days and Lullabies’ is Martyn’s latest effort, an epic journey into soft rock and classic lyricism. Channelling 60’s infused guitar tones and charming vocals, Scott manages to write a timeless classic. His evocative, yet dynamic vocals reflect a fitting tone for what’s around them, helping the overall arrangement glue together in a gooey, enriching and emotional sonic paste.

Of course, Scott worked hard to be here. From his humble beginnings playing Rock n Roll in smokey and dark clubs, he has gone on to perform in front of thousands of people, including a support slot for The Bootleg Beatles at the Echo Arena in Liverpool. His skills as a multi-instrumentalist are evident in his recordings, often packed with intricate melodies, refined guitar work, and lush instrumentation.
