Heather Taylor Dusts Off Her Crown on ‘I’m Good’

Jeremy Bregman

With her first release of the new year, North Carolina-based indie rocker Heather Taylor produces a funky and upbeat little anthem. ‘I’m Good’ sees the artist looking to the future, accepting the mess that surrounds her, and dusting herself off to enjoy life. “I was looking ahead to 2023,” said Taylor. “And it’s the kind of music I want to listen to in the new year”. Straight from the off, the tune is bright, bubbly, and full of life. Vibrant percussion, retro-sounding horns, and an electric guitar get things underway before the soulful, sassy, and resilient vocals of Taylor make their introduction.

Working alongside platinum-selling music producer Bradley Denniston (The Lonely Island, Gotye, Tegan and Sara, and G-Eazy), the pair have created a track that truly stands out. It’s fresh and energetic and just filled with fun, positive vibes. A true celebration of life!

‘I’m Good’ is Taylor’s first release since joining Radium Records, and there are already plans to release another two of her singles in the near future. She is, undoubtedly, an artist worth keeping a serious eye on going forward.
