Alt-Indie rock from Norwich, UK. Following up on previous EP ‘Front Row Empty’, The Lowtones unveil ‘Radio’, a double single containing the B-side ‘From The Start’. Listening to the record, it is clear that the four-piece outfit is approaching a step up in its career. Their signature indie energy, at times dark and nostalgic, it’s growing in songwriting and production quality, which we are confident will in turn attract a wider audience.
The Lowtones formed in early 2020 just as the world went into lockdown. Composed of Oliver ‘Mav’ Mavilio on vocals, Jack Abbott and Tim Cary on guitar, and George Abbott on drums, The Lowtones have already witnessed a certain momentum last year, performing in New York and celebrated by BBC Introducing.
