Andy Arno Reflects on AI and the Danger of a Hyper-Digitalized World

Often, music drives social change. Take Andy Arno’s latest single: ‘Misery’ seeks to be a critique of our current over-digitalized reality, and the danger we seem to be running towards. The lyrics inspire us to reflect, pause and think. And if those lyrics are sung by the magnificent vocals of a Spanish talent, the better. Arno has been populating the music scene since 2019, providing a series of records that clearly shows her ability to create relatable and memorable material, drenched in witty instrumental vibes. In other words, she’s a holistic, complete musician.

Emerging from Barcelona, Arno began singing at a young age and went on to study music at her local school. After a difficult breakup at 25, she set up a home studio and started recording her own songs. Since then, she’s collaborated with international artists, released several singles, and is currently recording her debut album ‘Through The Looking Glass’ which is expected to be released in April 2023. If ‘Misery’ is anything to go by, we are in for a treat!

Although the single finds its fertile territories in charming pop-rock, its lyricism is where the track shines the most. In it, we get to admire the depth and intelligence of a young, talented singer and musician. Describing the idea behind ‘Misery’, Arno explains: In my opinion, we are creating a distorted entity that not only alters our self-perception but doesn’t reflect true, deep human values such as Truth, Love and Respect. Values that, to my regret, are taking a back seat in this hyper-technological society.”
