Mother Vulture Unveils New Album ‘Mother Knows Best’

Raw power. Limitless attitude. Empowering punch. Those are just a few ways we could describe Mother Vulture’s sound. The Bristolian band seems to have taken the blues-punk scene by storm: after a summer spent performing around Europe, they’ll be coming home in December for a string of dates around Britain. Not happy about the numerous milestones they have achieved so far, the group releases a long album, ‘Mother Knows Best’, configuring it as their ultimate artistic manifesto, a collection of everything Mother Vulture stands for.

Active for a few years, the Bristol rock outfit had time to refine their musicianship, now offering unparalleled instrumental prowess. Navigating fast-paced gems and gritty, wall-like guitar tones, listeners will be met with ‘Fame or Shame’, opening the album in classic fashion. The script is pretty much the same for all that follows, only shifting in gloominess and sound nuances. Something that must be recognized, is the group’s aggressive lead vocals. With such a powerful vocal tone, they are able to deliver lyrical matter straight into the listener’s ears.

Overall, an impressive record for a band that – just in the span of three years – has managed to build herself a constant following, gaining spots in some of the most sought-after festivals around.
