Second Adam & the New Creations is the solo musical project of Poughkeepsie-based Christian-rock artist Abe Germano, and he’s just released his gritty and raw new single called ‘Kiss the Son’. Described by Germano as one of his favourite tunes from the new album, ‘Kiss the Son’ hits the ground running straight from the get-go. An intoxicating guitar riff combines with pounding drums and produces an almost grungy sound. Germano then makes his vocal introduction; passionate, heartfelt, and spirited. It’s the first new music to come from Second Adam & the New Creations in seven years, but I’m happy to say it was well worth the wait!
“I share original rock tunes that glorify God,” says Germano. “My hope is that God’s people enjoy them and that these songs are a source of light in dark places”. Though not a religious man myself, the intensity and sincerity in ‘Kiss the Son’ cannot be ignored. It’s anthemic, alternative, and hard-hitting.
“Music is a nearly universal part of religion because it appeals to and heightens human senses in a pleasurable way,” says Hannah Betchwars. Abe Germano knows this better than most, and we can’t wait to hear the full album!
