We have been following Atomic Bronco’s artistic journey for a while now. What surprises us is his ability to deliver crystal clear songwriting, often framed into folk and rock goodness. Championing the constant dualism between acoustic singer-songwriting stuff and more rocky gems, the Austin-based talent has proved time and time again to be worthy of a listen, tradition that continues with his latest release, ‘Foolish Games’.
Following up from previous singles ‘Classical Conditioning’ and ‘Get You Off My Mind’, the new record pursues a more laidback direction, echoing surf-rock and indie vibes. Built around a charming electric guitar, the track provides the perfect sonic backdrop for Atomic Bronco’s gentle yet trustworthy vocals, carrying the listener on a journey into old memories and love matter.
Although based in Austin, Atomic Bronco spent some time in London, UK, a trip that we can easily recognize in his music. Perhaps is that gritty, rocky flavour that so sapiently recalls the smoky clubs of the 60’ and 70’ in the English capital. What’s certain, is that Bronco is now a solid reality, and we expect him to be on the rise very soon.
