Perhaps it’s all been useful: underlined issues were brought to light, and we dealt with our demons. Perhaps not. What matters is who we are today and the confidence in our identity.
Emerging from Nashville, Benjamin Salt wants to highlight exactly that: the struggle to becoming one with himself again. A talented singer, songwriter and performer, Salt debuted originally in 2020, amassing over 100k streams with a remix of his gem ‘Lost in Chicago’. Now, after a short hiatus that saw him fight all the challenges declared above, Benjamin is back in full force, sharing with the world his latest single, ‘Wondering’.
A poignant, heartfelt number, the track introduces itself with an emotional piano part and Salt’s evocative, mesmerising vocals, navigating different registries without breaking a sweat. Eventually, the track transforms into a full-on, epic anthem, which we deeply loved.
Describing his experience in coming back to music, Salt explains: “For so long I thought I had lost my voice, but the process of writing and recording this song helped me to find it again. ‘Wondering’ documents my journey from a dark place back into the light as I reinvigorated my faith in God and found my purpose in life.”
