Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, NIKONEVERLEFT explains: “This track is all about that feeling in a relationship when your partner is ready for a relationship, but you’re not – you don’t wanna move too fast because you’re scared of messing things up, but you also know that you can’t stay in this ‘romantic limbo’ forever.”
