Francesca Monte and Fake Famili Share Dance Single ‘Push and Pull’

We are not strangers to Francesca Monte‘s majestic, fierce musical dealings. Hailing from London, the rising songstress has enjoyed a meteoric career, starting from early TV appearances in her Italian homeland to the many creative collaborations developed in the UK. Now, Monte returns with a club-oriented livery, teaming up with producer duo Fake Famili on ‘Push and Pull’.

A nugget of unfiltered dance energy and house euphoria, the track shares a certain retro quality, with a minimal, tight beat wrapping around Francesca’s dynamic, luscious vocals. Evoking a sultry, atmosphere, ‘Push and Pull’ reminds us of late 90s house and techno, but also of early ‘2000 Eurodance. Everything plays a part in making the record a welcome throwback, one that once again showcases Monte’s nuanced artistry and her ability to adapt to a variety of musical settings.

Speaking about the lyricism behind it, the Italian popstar explains how the song is meant to be “a powerful anthem about breaking limits and embracing one’s true desires”. Such a libertine and empowering message is the perfect match for the track’s striking instrumental. We are particularly intrigued about its effect on clubs – packed dancefloors incoming!
