Ozzient Sends an Important Message with ‘Peace, Not War’

The last time we featured Chicago-based creative Ozzient was barely a few months ago, when we celebrated his vibrant EP, ‘Chill Thrills’. Now, the American artist returns with his latest effort ‘Peace, Not War’, a collaboration with fellow hip-hop connoisseurs Chairman Allen and TREVMENTAL. Ozzient is very clear about the message behind the single, boldly describing it as “finding peace within to create harmony in a chaotic world”.

Such meaningful words are particularly heavy and striking these days, at a time when the old world order is seemingly in jeopardy. Calling for a global return to authentic, peace-oriented values, Ozzient seeks to empower the listeners to pursue a gentler, ethical ethos, not letting themselves be taken over by greed and money. It’s a message we can stand behind.

Thanks to Chairman Allen and TREVMENTAL both lending themselves to different verses in the track, ‘Peace, Not War’ becomes a true gem, a wonderfully executed, bold anthem that speaks to a higher consciousness. The understated, sultry production is a perfect match for Ozzient’s R&B-flavoured artistry.
