Following up from ‘WHAT A FEELING’ – an intense, grandiose hard-shoegaze masterpiece – Italian outfit Glazyhaze have recently unveiled their latest effort ‘FORGIVE ME’, a decisively more polite, ballad-driven gem. Tender and luscious, the track paves the way for the group’s debut album, ‘Sonic’, out on the 21st of March.
We are absolutely impressed with how Glazyhaze manage to pack their sound with such energy and euphoria, yet keeping an introspective, ethereal sonic imprint, outlining what we’d define as a ‘violent dream’. Fresh from a tour in Europe and the UK, the young creatives certainly stand out in the crowded shoegaze market, offering a personal formula that’s whimsical and pensive, yet hard-hitting and vibrant. Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘FORGIVE ME’, Glazyhaze explain: “It captures the deep pain that comes with the realization that the person you love is not meant to stay forever. It’s a raw journey through the delicate balance between holding on, letting go, and leaving a glimmer, an open door, to a timeless love”.
