We absolutely love shoegaze. In all of its sauces: guitar-powered, M83-esque, electronic… we feel like we have found the ultimate blend of all those currents in French musician Larmes Noires. Guiding a strong DIY project, he’s recently unveiled a stunning, stunning track, ‘L’aurore’, taken from his latest album ‘Stigmate’. In it, the keen listener will face an immense, ethereal sonic bath, laced with spacious guitar tones and distant, massive vocals.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the record, Larmes Noires explains: “Entirely self-produced in true DIY spirit, this record is a deeply personal exploration of themes like melancholy, social isolation, and inner strength, blending post-rock, shoegaze, and darkwave influences into an atmospheric and immersive soundscape.”
