Jack Rush Delivers Eclectic Blend of Gems on Debut Album ‘Late Bloomer’

Firstly, let me begin by saying…I have the utmost respect for Jack Rush. At sixty-eight years young, the Switzerland-based artist found his groove later on in life, but ever since, he’s pursued it with a passion that defies convention. Living proof that it’s never too late to start something new, Jack Rush recently delivered his debut album ‘Late Bloomer’, a ten-track offering of eclectic and inventive tunes that have stolen my heart.

A record certain to resonate with a wide range of listeners, ‘Late Bloomer’ is a sonic adventure through melodic rock, rhythmic pop, and classic singer/songwriter sensibilities. From Neil Young and Damon Albarn to Joni Mitchell and James Taylor, Rush’s diverse musical influences serve merely as guiding lights. It’s his individuality and charisma that ultimately define ‘Late Bloomer’.

“I love different genres of music and some of my biggest influences are constantly mixing their styles,” says Jack. “This is why I prefer not to be confined to any nonexistent rules that say an artist has to be ‘consistent'”.

Personal favourites from ‘Late Bloomer’ include the heartfelt title track, the funky and upbeat vibe of ‘Lovely Summer’, and Jack’s chart-topping anthem ‘Wonderland’. The best news yet? Rush has promised us a lot more music very soon! We can’t wait!
