Ann Marie Nacchio and Shay Moulder Team Up on Haunting New EP ‘Almost Okay’

As we’ve previously noted, Ann Marie Nacchio is an insanely gifted singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Staten Island, New York City. Over the years, she’s thrilled us with beautifully eclectic tunes like ‘Maybe’, ‘Tell Me Something’, and ‘Wrong’. Ann is truly a musician of the highest order, and on her latest endeavour ‘Almost Okay’, she teams up with Southern California-based singer/songwriter Shay Moulder to concoct three wonderfully textured and delicate tracks.

‘The Letter’ serves as the EP’s starting point, and it’s a hauntingly captivating composition that sets the tone for an emotional and immersive journey. ‘Almost Okay’ then continues said journey, and features some of the most stunning piano work and production elements I’ve heard in some time. It’s simply exquisite!

‘Funny How It Goes’ completes Ann’s latest offering, bringing the EP to a close in a deeply moving, intense, and profound fashion. Both of the pair’s vocal performances display an effortless mastery of their craft throughout, and I hope this won’t be the last time they decide to team up!

Transcending geographical boundaries and resonating with listeners worldwide, Ann and Shay prove once again that great music knows no borders.
