The keen reader will be rather familiar with Micheal Fordays by now. The American rocker has consistently showcased his willingness to pack his artistic output with energy and charismas, something that’s obvious in his latest single, ‘No Way Back’. Wrapped in uplifting rock energy, chaotic drums and rowdy vocals, the track follows up from ‘Wasted Days’ and marks the journey to Fordays’ upcoming album ‘The Odds of Magic’.
Looking back at what Micheal has accomplished this year, we are honestly impressed. With a string of singles under his belt, the Los Angeles-based rocker enters 2025 with the confidence of having done good work. If ‘No Way Back’ is anything to go by, such good work takes the shape of hard-hitting, evocative power and classic rock, together with Fordays’ introspective and relatable lyricism.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, he explains: “I always dip into my life as an artist and the emotions of life. I ask (always) why am I here? Who am I? I revisit experiences I’ve had and the experiences that are current and haunting.” Well, it seems he’s now found his purpose and meaning in life – gifting wonderful music to like-minded listeners.
