Rachel Croom Shares Stunning Gem ‘Ease Into Yesterday’

We are rather curious about Rachel Croom’s nuanced artistry. Having debuted earlier this year with ‘Secluded Recluse’, the American songstress has since consolidated her musical prowess, unveiling a wonderful EP that’s as cathartic as it is evocative. Aptly titled ‘Big Music Fan’, the record features six compelling tracks.

‘Ease Into Yesterday’ is the piece that steals our attention. It’s both nostalgic and fresh, evoking fragments of early ‘2000 rock-pop euphoria transported into modern settings. A plethora of textures gives the track a wealthy amount of soothing energy and intimate character. Finally, Croom’s vocals feel light, yet meaningful and evocative, wrapping the listeners in an effortless musical journey.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, Rachel explains: “‘Ease Into Yesterday’ is a song about knowing you’re on the cusp of moving forward but choosing to go ‘off in la-la’ for a bit. You’re taking the hand of your inner child and running into their imaginary land.” Also an accomplished actress, Rachel can be considered a holistic creative. From what we have heard so far, we are expecting big things from the project. It’s only the beginning.
