Palejoy Release Hard-Hitting and Emotive Anthem ‘I Bet Heaven Isn’t Real At All’

Apart from being a contender for song title of the year, the brand new single from Scottish emo trio Palejoy is also an absolute banger from start to finish! A hard-hitting and energetic assault on the auditory senses, it’s a tune filled with raw emotion and fiery passion.

Penned after the passing of guitarist and vocalist Dale Sutherland’s grandfather, the track explores themes of sadness, anger, and self-loathing. A four-minute sonic journey that’s easy to get lost in, ‘I Bet Heaven Isn’t Real At All’ is a heart-on-sleeve anthem that packs a serious punch.

After a busy year on the road, playing shows all across Scotland and sharing stages with some big names, Palejoy’s focus is now on recording and releasing those tunes that resonated most with fans. And, as the band points out, “Where better to start than with ‘I Bet Heaven Isn’t Real At All”.

Recorded by Ewan Simpson and mixed/mastered by Mark Morrow, Palejoy’s latest offering expertly captures the outfit’s raw emotional energy. Another act I would love to see perform live, Palejoy are certainly worth keeping an eye on!
