We’ve had the pleasure of documenting the recent sounds of gifted Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Micheal Fordays. Ever since 2023’s ‘The Mind and Echoes’ album, we’ve been keeping a close eye (and ear) on the seasoned artist, and with each new release, Micheal continues to push sonic boundaries.
‘Wasted Days’ is the musician’s brand new offering, and it sees him continuing down that raw and charismatic rock ‘n’ roll path. Featuring tight guitar riffs, intricate bass lines, and an outstanding drumming performance courtesy of Dave Klein (who also mixed the tune), ‘Wasted Days’ is gritty and deeply infectious. It’s a track I can see igniting a live audience and firing up any venue with its energy and drive.
Having waited patiently for another full album from Micheal, it seems we are inching closer and closer to the release of ‘The Odds of Magic’. ‘Wasted Days’ is the fourth single Fordays has unleashed from his upcoming record and, with a scheduled release date of 2025, surely the full album is just around the corner.
An indie artist we couldn’t be more proud of championing, Micheal Fordays dances to the beat of his own drum, something we shall always respect around these parts.
