Rediscover Neo 21’s Inventive Single ‘SGMA (remix)’

It’s extremely rare for us to introduce you to the same tune twice. But, as they say, a truly standout track (never mind a debut) deserves a second moment in the spotlight. With this in mind, allow me to re-introduce you to Nigeria-born, UK-based artist Neo 21

‘SGMA (remix)’ is the song in question, and it’s a reimagining of Jack Harlow and Dave’s criminally underrated tune ‘Stop Giving Me Advice’. Bringing his unique flair to the fore, Neo 21 turned the track into a self-dialogue that allowed him to reaffirm his growth, decision-making, and artistic path.

Described by my fellow writing partner in crime Gabriel as a record that’s “a melting pot of elements, all processed through the creative mind of the proficient rapper and songwriter,” ‘SGMA remix)’ is an intricate blend of genres and styles. It’s brimming with inventive energy, and I find myself picking up new nuances and details with every listen.

Finding inspiration in acts like Wizkid, Burna Boy, Kendrick Lamar, and Gunna, Neo 21 delivers music that is both relatable and aspirational.

Accompanying ‘SGMA (remix)’ is a visually captivating music video that reflects Neo 21’s journey, and we are honoured to share it with you below!
