‘Alchemy‘ was an EP that swept me off my feet last year. Courtesy of San Francisco-based alternative-pop artist Tess Posner, the five-track offering was a cinematic wonder of lush and enchanting sonic landscapes. Having kept a close eye (and ear) on Tess ever since – today I am proud to share ‘Can You Hear Me Now’ with you, the artist’s uplifting and euphoric new single.
Filled with infectious beats, vibrant energy, and an encouraging message, Posner describes her latest tune as “a high-energy anthem of empowerment, capturing the exhilarating moment when you reclaim your voice after being silenced”. A bold and unapologetic declaration of inner strength, ‘Can You Hear Me Now’ is a sonic rallying cry that lifts the spirits and warms the heart.
Produced by Grammy-nominated Jeff Schneeweis (LAEL), Tess showcases another side of her artistry I hadn’t encountered before. It’s certainly the most upbeat and, for want of a better word, “poppy” I’ve heard her sound.
It undoubtedly works though, and provides further proof (if any more is needed) that Tess Posner is on a creative journey that is only getting more exciting with every new release.
