London-based Rapper, Producer and talented Singer-Songwriter Son Silva has released a stunningly complex, multifaceted new masterpiece titled, “Skyview”. The distorted track rebels against the traditional aspects of composition, breaking barriers and exposing a raw, sonically cohesive masterpiece.
Speaking on the release, Silva says: “I wanted the production to marry influences from shoegaze and pop punk with its loud, distorted guitar-laden soundscape but with the tempo, raps and rhythms of drill, grime and garage with the syncopated drums during the verses, skittering hi-hats and heavy drums during the hooks.
A year in the making, this innovative piece of modern artistry combines intricate lyrics with an equally complex melody, drawing influence from multiple genres including Rock, Drill and Rap. Somehow still maintaining a sense of continuity and partial familiarity, Silva has created something truly unique that we won’t be forgetting in a hurry.
