A very talented DJ and producer from the same American city has now decided to give it a brand-new livery. Embracing electrifying tech house, Sherm has done a fantastic job of layering spoken words by Michael Jordan with a high-octane, dance-inducing production.
Florida-based house duo Rich Dietz joins Sherm on that very same journey, helping the track reach its best form. Out now via rising label Hood Politics, ‘96 BullZ’ is certainly quite inspiring and empowering, especially with Jordan delivering a strong impactful speech. We can easily see it becoming a staple in the Chicago dance scene – and worldwide too.
Speaking about the track, Sherm explains: “The energy that we bring as a group is as elevated as MJ’s dunk from the free throw line. It’s as powerful as Dennis Rodman boxing you out and as dominant as Scottie Pippen stealing the ball from you. There is no greater team in basketball than the ‘96 Bulls and we are resurfacing that greatness through this track.”
