It’s interesting to observe artists researching a personal sound, blending their influences and roots in order to find their true identity. For Auckland-based talent InDuna, it meant reconnecting to his African roots, a move he’s been exploring copiously since his debut in 2018. A move that’s also fantastically expressed in the talented artist’s latest single, ‘All My Love’. A collaboration with fellow creatives Rei and Mukukā, the track takes the shape of a groovy, feel-good banger, focusing on the ability to love unconditionally.
Drawing attention to the project with past single ‘Black Man Running’, InDuna has been rising steadily, constantly pushing the limits of his creativity and showcasing musicianship and lyricism that’s frankly impressive. ‘All My Love’ is the perfect example of this: borrowing bouncy, groovy beat, the NZ artist manages to place his hopeful topline on top of a delicious dancy production, perfectly highlighting his vocal quality: soulful yet evocative, always adapting to its context.
Rai and Mukukā complete a song that has all the signs of a radio hit. After all, all of us can offer love. Luxury and money… Not so much! Let yourself free to the pace of ‘All My Love’. Dancing is a healing process and perhaps is even more attractive than money and luxury.
