Lira Bekbolatova Shares Soothing EP ‘Sfumature d’Amore’

I spend all my time looking for the next forward-thinking record, yet I often forget how cathartic and soothing a piano piece can be. Perhaps you can relate: in a world that’s moving a million miles an hour, a world where everyone’s trying to reinvent themselves, it’s hard to feel grounded in the simple things. In this case, the simple thing is a collection of stunning cinematic instrumental pieces, crafted by multi-talented creative Lira Bekbolatova

Aptly titled ‘Sfumature d’Amore’ (Italian for ‘shades of love’), the EP features seven relatively short piano compositions, performed by Bekbolatova herself. The overarching theme revolves around love and the many dimensions and shapes it can take throughout the human experience. For instance, opener ‘Eros’ refers to passion and romance, while follow-up ‘Philia’ explores brotherly, friendly love.

A professional writer and overall thinker, Lira has accomplished a remarkable goal: providing fifteen minutes of pure bliss and softness to any keen listener. Speaking about ‘Sfumature d’Amore’, she explains: “This EP represents my exploration of love in its various forms and connections, offering a reflection on how love manifests in different dimensions of our lives.”
