Fiona Amaka Pens Delicate and Romantic Little Ditty ‘Different’

London-based singer/songwriter Fiona Amaka is still a relative newcomer to the music scene, but she’s wasted no time making a name for herself. Tunes like ‘Miles Apart’ and ‘Wingman’, both released earlier this year, have already seen significant Spotify play numbers, and the talented songstress now returns with a catchy and romantic little ditty in the form of ‘Different’.

An indie-folk track at its core, the piano-led song is gentle in nature, with touches of acoustic guitar accompanying its understated production. The tender and mellifluent vocals of Fiona draw listeners in and add further intimacy and warmth to proceedings, all culminating in a super-sweet and charming tune resonating with sincerity, honesty, and emotion.

“Some people living with neurodiversity have come to terms with it while others struggle to believe that they are loveable and wonderful with it,” says Fiona. “‘Different’ is a song for everyone who sometimes truffles with feeling a little bit different and believing they’re loved”.

Influenced by heavyweights like Steve Nicks, Joan Armatrading, Rowena Wise, and Tracy Chapman, Fiona Amaka takes pride in exploring different genres and vocal approaches. A true artist in every sense of the word, we can’t wait to follow her musical journey going forward!
