LGBTQ+ Artist Vanda Shares Her New Flirty Single ‘So Cold’

Zoë McDonald

In her new track, LA-based artist Vanda delivers a light-hearted, upbeat love song with underlying messages of misogyny, homophobia and sexism. Originally from Chicago, Vanda combines her hometown roots with an LA backdrop, creating an edgy, cool and somewhat flirty sound.

After co-writing with rapper Lucidious and featuring on his album ‘Enough’ in 2019, Vanda embarked on her own musical journey and began releasing original songs. So far, the artist has garnered an impressive 1.5 million streams across a relatively modest discography constructed of a mixture of alt-pop and R&B influences.

Vanda’s latest release ‘So Cold’ is a zestful and catchy track with lots of added ear candy. Her smooth vocals glide alongside a sweet electro-pop beat, weaving between all the elements with her full harmonies and luscious voice. The sound and lyrical quality of the track are undeniable and show what the young artist has to offer. Other than being a high-quality pop release, the song sounds like the feeling of having a crush, when you’re all giddy over someone and can’t stop thinking about them. As she sings about her partner, that butterflies-in-the-stomach feeling comes across beautifully, and effortlessly conveys the meaning of the song.

I would definitely recommend Vanda and her new cheeky tune!
