Tally Spear Delivers Charming Gem ‘Sliding Doors’

Following up from ‘Self Confessions’ – an electrifying pop-punk anthem positively praised by British tastemakers – rising creative Tally Spear now unveils ‘Sliding Doors’, a track that picks up exactly where she left off. Doubling down on a dynamic and fuzzy punk-pop identity, the track is certainly more evocative and meaningful, packing introspective lyricism in a three-minute-long fierce musical nugget.

The result is exactly what one would expect: an all-out, punchy banger with a strong emotional contour, driven by Spear’s luscious and elegant vocals, successfully bridging the gap between distorted guitars and expressive songwriting. For everyone interested, ‘Sliding Doors’ is inspired by the 1998 movie of the same name…

Speaking about the single, Spear explains: “I’ve always been painfully indecisive, second guessing myself and always looking back wondering ‘what if’. It’s strange to think that we all could have so many different lives based on different choices. The song is essentially about the butterfly effect, constantly being stuck in two minds, and overthinking small decisions and the larger roles they play.”
