Richard Green Returns with Classical EP ‘The Circle Closes’

Yet again, we are able to discover a new angle into Richard Green’s artistry. A holistic creative, the London-based musician and composer expresses himself through a variety of genres and songwriting stylings, something that was very clear when we last wrote about the project. Reviewing ‘Smiles’, we proudly declared it “a glorious and uplifting celebration of his musical prowess”

Now, Green returns with a record that’s way more nuanced and cathartic, ‘The Circle Closes’. Delving into classical territories (already explored in the past), the London-based talent rallies a series of like-minded musicians around him, penning strings and piano-powered compositions with a distinctly modern character. Irene Veneziano and Archimia join Richard in this endeavour.

Opener ‘Wrinkles’ is the track that catches our attention, a five-minute journey into Green’s creative universe. Speaking about the piece, he explains: “Wrinkles, as the title itself suggests, represent the last chapter of our lives, it represents the idea of tiredness of many years of life.”
