The keen reader might remember reading about ZOOLOOK not long ago. A mysterious producer and holistic creative, the Californian musician has built a quirky and unique brand behind their music. Championing dub and reggae stylings with a touch of electronica and R&B flavourings, the project is pretty effective in crafting instrumental pieces with a hazy, cathartic appeal.
Writing about ZOOLOOK’s previous album ‘STONEFRENGE: Black in Space’, we proudly declared it as “a strong offering, delving into long and hypnotising laidback grooves, ethereal soundscapes, and mangled vocal samples”. Now, ZOOLOOK returns with a new promo, offering ‘Rockers’ (taken from the album) in a shorter version format, aiming to attract like-minded creatives who will express themselves through dance routines.
The most relevant entries of such a challenge will be selected by ZOOLOOK personally. As he explains: “I am incredibly excited to see how fans interpret the energy and vibe of this remix through dance. Music is a universal language, and I can’t wait to connect with fans from all corners of the globe through this dance challenge.”
