Juju Returns with Impressive Single ‘Swings and Roundabouts’

An impressive offering, ‘Swings and Roundabouts’ sees London-based creative Juju embarking on a hypnotising alt-pop journey, one that’s tinged with darker sound design and a myriad of vocal harmonies. The chorus is particularly notable, with its melancholic yet fierce melody delivering a wonderful resolution from the spoken words in the verses.

Honestly, it’s as contemporary as it could be. Electrifying, saturated, yet still palatable and dreamy. We are not sure how Juju pulled it off, but this is pop heaven, a pure, unfiltered slice of pop euphoria. Having already left a mark on the industry with last year’s EP ‘I’ve Got a Lot To Say’, it’s clear Juju is on her way up.

Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘Swings and Roundabouts’, she explains: “When I wrote this track I was going through a difficult time due to circumstances in my personal life, but I kept trying to remind myself that it’s not always going to be this hard or feel this bad, you just have to brace yourself and go through it to come out the other side.”
