It’s been a while since we had the privilege of writing about Ninni. Previously appearing on our publication with ‘For the Last Time’, we described him and the record as “channelling everything he has into it, leaving a lasting connection in a very short space of time”. That’s a key point of the Neapolitan talent: building playful and simple songs over acoustic and blissful arrangements, he makes it a point of crafting soothing gems with few elements, highlighting the human aspect of his work.
It works! ‘Together’ is equally as hypnotising, introduced by a gentle guitar and a plethora of light percussions. Ninni’s linear, relatable vocals evoke scenes of daily life and positive nostalgia, wrapping the listeners into a positive mood that’s incredibly inspiring and infectious. Along with catchy melodies and honey-like motifs, the single feels eclectic and colourful.
Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘Together’, Ninni explains: “The song is about the lightness we usually feel in summertime and it is a lovesong, for those who believe in the force of love”.
