LIVES LOST Shares Monumental Anthem ‘NUMB THE PAIN’

emo territories with gusto and charisma, wrapping the listeners into a melancholic yet energetic journey of charged catharsis. Reminiscent of bigger acts such as Bring Me The Horizon, American outfit Lives Lost truly impresses us with this single. The track is produced very well, blending distortions and electronic textures perfectly.

The playbook is what any contemporary emo fan would expect: dark, gloomy soundscapes, spacious drum fills and the alternation between regular and screamy vocals. Guitar tones are often drenched in myriad effects, making them more akin to an otherworldly stream of creepy sonic matter. The chorus elevates the song to a stadium anthem, catchy and relatable. It’s something a keen fan would sing out loud.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the record, Lives Lost explain: “‘NUMB THE PAIN’ is a reminder that even though our struggles are different, we should never feel alone and I think we can all relate to that.”
