Described as a “fun(ny) song about reconnecting with an old colleague after many years,” ‘Now We’re Successful’ relies on Latin percussion and rhythm to drive the tune. A toe-tapping and insatiably catchy track, it’s the perfect blend of entertainment and energy that will lift your spirits.
Inspired to create the song when a former colleague reached out to Kevin on LinkedIn, the musician concluded that both would undoubtedly play up their achievements. “Now we’re successful and we pull in the bank,” sings Franco. “Aren’t we clever?”
Working alongside renowned drummer Sterling Laws, (The War on Drugs, Matt Berninger) and producer extraordinaire Darryll McFadyen, (Belle and Sebastian) Kevin Franco has concocted one of this year’s most infectious tunes.
