Plasma Chasms Gear Up for Debut Album with Trippy Stunner ‘Interstellar Baby’

‘Interstellar Baby’ is the brand new single courtesy of Los Angeles-based duo Plasma Chasms, an act made up of Australian Jane Drewett and American Adrian Guerrero. Serving as the third single from their forthcoming debut album ‘Chrysalis’, the tune is a summery, poppy, funky, and psychedelic offering that is as blissful as it is refreshingly vibrant. A spacey and soulful adventure that takes listeners on a trippy and nostalgia-laced journey, ‘Interstellar Baby’ was inspired by Marvin Gaye, hence the horns, strings, and general Motown-infused goodness.

“The song came about to catch a vibe in enjoying summer Fridays,” says the duo. “The day that you can go out for dinner and dance under the stars with your love”.

After their debut self-titled EP received overwhelmingly positive reviews, Plasma Chasms has been working hard on their first full-length record. Promising to take listeners on a journey aboard a cosmic elevator, ‘Chrysalis’ picks up where their EP left off, and is set to immerse fans and critics in an even richer and more textured soundscape.

I’ve fallen deeply in love with ‘Interstellar Baby’ and, after having gone through the rest of their discography,  I’ve discovered an act that could become a true personal favourite. Is there anything better than that?
