Discover AMAVA’s Poignant Hyper-Pop In New Jewel ‘Feel Things’

Writing music can be a healing practice. You see, whenever you are experiencing a certain mood, or whenever you are met with challenges and need somewhere to reflect, vent and put things into perspective, writing thoughts into a song can be an immense resource. It is a cathartic experience: you are able to freeze a certain moment in time, as a sort of modern memento. Nashville pop powerhouse AMAVA knows all that very well. Her artistic output is constituted of short yet intense gems, boasting strong lyricism against a backdrop of modern, exciting productions.

Following up on a productive 2022, 25-year-old AMAVA is now returning with her latest offering, ‘Feel Things’, an explosive concoction of hyper pop and EDM sensibilities packaged into a glimmering, highly attractive format. Our thoughts on it? We love it. Sure, it does follow the mainstream, in that being extremely contemporary, But, it is really well crafted. If good pop music is what you are looking for, you found it. But it’s not just the production, it is also AMAVA’s own lyricism, which somehow feels sweeter than its sonical background, perhaps aided by her folk roots. Delivering a mesmerising array of melodies and a catchy, powerful chorus, it will be hard to not have the track on repeat.

Overall, ‘Feel Things’ is the latest manifestation of a bright career and a testament to AMAVA’s artistic prowess.
