We truly enjoyed listening to ‘Eternal Sunshine’; built on eclectic and quirky instrumental stylings, the track benefits from the group’s playful yet intense rap vocals, making the overall sonic livery quite unexpected; The Roots are a fitting comparison, although in the case of Producing a Kind Generation, the focus is less on hip-hop and more on wider psychedelic funk-rock and potentially some veiled indie action too.
‘Eternal Sunshine’ is the perfect evidence of that: built on wholesome drums, guitar and keys, the track and its sonic recipe feel grounded and unique, yet familiar and drenched in tradition. Expecting an upcoming album to be released later this year, Producing a Kind Generation are certainly onto something real – we’ll be here supporting.
