Believing it was time to release a more upbeat tune, Amsterdam-based singer/songwriter, producer, and music therapist Harry Kappen offers up a brand new song called ‘Cool Down’. Serving as the follow-up to his classic rock ballad ‘One life’, a track we labelled as “an emotional and poignant journey that soothes the soul,” ‘Cool Down’ shows another side to Harry’s artistic prowess.
Featuring both acoustic and electric guitars, the rocky new single is an urgent appeal for humanity to slow down, breathe, and contemplate. Keeping things instrumentally uncomplicated allows for Kappen’s passionate vocals to take front and centre, as he urges the listener to take stock of who and what is truly important.
‘Cool Down’ will form part of Harry’s forthcoming album ‘Time will tell’, an eclectic twelve-track record scheduled for release later this year. The album will initially only be available at www.harrykappen.com and will come with a PDF file of lyrics, ensuring a deeper connection to the artist’s powerful messages.
