Giant Killers Unveils Latest EP ‘When This Time is Over’

The story behind Giant Killers is one we have seen a few times already; one that speaks volumes about how a record can end up buried in a label’s archive, sometimes for years. Well, the group went through that very same experience: signed to MCA Records in 1995, they released two singles and recorded an album, which was never released.

Kept as a close-guarded secret until today, ‘Songs for The Small Places’ was finally acquired by Giant Killers and released to the wider public earlier this year, in a nostalgic yet empowering action that sees their artistic prowess being celebrated after over twenty years. Following up on the overwhelmingly positive feedback received by the album, the band now shares a brand new EP, ‘When This Time is Over’.

Featuring four tracks, the EP showcases Giant Killer’s Britpop and new wave’s flavoured stylings, taking us back in time to the electrifying and exciting sound of the late 90s. There was turmoil and excitement in Britain at the time – everything seemed possible, with the thatcherism era slowly fading out. We are pleased to report that the group hasn’t lost their artistic blessing. In fact, they are stronger than ever.
