French Troubadour Comett Shares Nostalgic Ballad ‘The Dance’

We had a great time exploring the Comett project; on the surface, the French troubadour looks like a rather regular artist, but a quick glance at his Spotify profile reveals a deeply talented musician – in fact, his 2021 hit piece ‘Love Is What You Make It’ is just about to reach one million streams on Spotify alone. That’s pretty impressive, although it’s easy to understand why: Comett’s ability to pen poignant and emotional anthems is unmatched.

Such a quality makes sure that his songs remain extremely relatable and catchy, making it the perfect pairing for any prospective listeners in search of meaningful and nostalgic music. ‘The Dance’ continues on the same tradition; Comett’s latest effort, the track is a slow-paced ballad with a distinct retro outlook. Elegant and distinct, the song would be the perfect match for any intimate dance at prom night… something that perfectly matches the lyrical inspiration behind it.

As Comett explains: “‘The Dance’ takes us back to our adolescence, and shows us over the ages, the difficulties of going to dance a slow with the desired person”.
