Born and raised in Manchester, brothers Joe and Will Vallely had a wealth of artistic influences at their fingertips. The city’s diverse musical landscape is iconic, and this rich heritage has profoundly shaped the sound of their band Radegunds. Their debut single ‘Catch The Crazy’ was released halfway through last year, and it was a track that we labelled “a stunning and fierce indie-rock tune”. Now, the four-piece has returned with ‘Rigged To Blow’, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you today.
Another classic piece of indie-rock brilliance, ‘Rigged To Blow’ pulsates with infectious guitar riffs, spirited drum work, groovy basslines, and a killer vocal performance from Joe. A sonic journey of epic proportions, it’s an upbeat and electrifying anthem that showcases the act’s undeniable talent, and it’s a song that I imagine being even better in a live setting. Hopefully, one day, I’ll have that opportunity.
“At the start of the pandemic, while others were stockpiling household essentials, we were stockpiling dozens of tunes, riffs, scraps of melody, lyrical sketches, and song skeletons,” said the brothers. Our only hope is that we get to hear more shortly – no more year-long waits you guys!
