Earlier this year, Atlanta-based singer/songwriter Eddie King and his band ReBoot came crashing into my world with their bluesy rock debut masterpiece ‘Haunted’. I instantly fell in love with the tune and have been waiting patiently ever since for a follow-up. Well, my friends, today I am proud to announce ‘Fallen’, Eddie and ReBoot’s sophomore single.
Armed with a brand new bassist in the form of Melvin Scudder, his thick and haunting bassline gets the track underway. Brian Wilson’s guitar and Kevin Blocksom’s drums are then introduced before Eddie’s rich and commanding vocals take centre stage, delivering a powerful performance that is impossible to ignore.
Around the two-and-a-half-minute mark, we are greeted with a shimmering guitar solo that elevates the song to new heights, adding an electrifying touch to an already captivating piece of music.
With a runtime of just under seven minutes, ‘Fallen’ is an utterly epic and breathtaking tune which further enhances Eddie King and ReBoot’s growing reputation. And, with plenty more tracks up their sleeve, we can only anticipate more great music on the horizon.
