Set against the backdrop of driving guitar melodies and pulsating rhythms, ‘Fame’ illustrates the emotional toll of witnessing a friend’s obsession with online fame consume them. “I think we are all reaching a point where we are sick of the online facade,” says Annie. “I hope this song can contribute to a larger conversation about who we, as consumers, give platforms to”.
