We last wrote about Lizzie Hosking last December, celebrating a Christmas tune that showcased once again her artistic and creative worth. Now, the Australian songstress is back at it with a fierce, electrifying single aimed at celebrating the personal alchemy between two lovers, and their ability to experiment freely with their intimacy.
Titled ‘Bubble’, the record is pretty dreamy and ethereal, built on bright and eclectic pop stylings – although its bridge shifts into a fuzzy, distorted gear, showing us Hosking’s punchier side. Ending into orchestral glory with a majestic flurry of stunning violins, ‘Bubble’ is the perfect match for Lizzie’s elegant, soothing vocals, here dancing effortlessly on the instrumental.
Diagnosed with ASD at a young age, Hosking doesn’t shy away from using her artistic journey to celebrate the resilience the effort required to navigate societal misconceptions and relationship hardships – something that should be praised and admired.
