We have been following TATE SEDAR for the past couple of years, and it’s been exciting to observe him grow into a global EDM phenomenon. Making his way through the music landscape with original material and electrifying remixes, the American producer and DJ boasts a truly commercial flair; he’s able to deliver main room vibes, a pumping, euphoric production style that works across the board, from Rome to Rio.
Recently, TATE SEDAR has been spotted working on a remix/rework inspired by The 1975. Focusing on their hit ‘Oh Caroline’, the Los Angeles-based creative strips it from all its elements to then wrap it into a luscious EDM and Future House livery. Quite an unexpected combo – hearing Matt Healy on such a dance-inducing beat is certainly a different experience.
Available on Soundcloud, ‘Oh Caroline (TATE SEDAR REMIX) – The 1975’ is an interesting offering. Although not on streaming services yet – probably due to licensing issues – the record highly showcases what SEDAR is capable of. In 2024, he’s an elite remixer.
