Cat Cork is the musical project of Australian-based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Stuart Cork. He released his debut album ‘Ulysses’ back in 2016 but then went quiet and wasn’t heard from again. Until now! Inspired once again to create music, ‘Post Man’ is the artist’s brand new single, and it sees him teaming up with an incredible array of talented musicians. Serving as the first track from Cat Cork’s upcoming album ‘Silver & Gold’, I am immensely proud to introduce you to the new tune today.
A dreamy and hazy power pop number, ‘Post Man’ took several months to complete, and once you’ve heard the track, you’ll understand why. Expertly textured and layered, and featuring a multitude of different instruments, it’s a lush and meticulous symphony of sound. Cork’s vocals are warm and inviting, casting a spell over the listener that is just simply irresistible!
Recorded in a home studio with musicians contributing from all over the world, ‘Post Man’ is a welcome return to the scene from Cat Cork. It’s a beautiful little song in every way, and I can’t wait to see what he offers up next!
