Speaking about the inspiration behind the single, Michael explains: “Of all the examples of utter nonsense repeated endlessly by our former president, the one that specifically led to THIS song was the lie (he continues to tell) that he didn’t lose the last election. As proven time and time again in recent years, he DID lose that election”.
